Below you'll find some practical information on Gold Cup 2016 from 19 - 24 July 2016.

Driving directions. It is recommended that you even get an accurate driving directions from his home to the exhibition site www.krak.dk, www.eniro.dk or www.google.dk

Registration junior showmanship and child and dog. This year, the Club has decided only to accept manual registration “on the day of show”. You register and pay for junior showmanship or child and dog at the INFO no later than 10 am on Thursday and Saturday.

Junior showmanship is DKK 75 or € 10 per show. Child and dog is DKK 35 or € 5 per show.

At the INFO, a catalogue can be picked up free of charge for everyone who have registered one or more dogs.

After the Gold Cup 2016, catalogue can be downloaded from www.newfclub.dk.

At the INFO you may purchase a paper copy of the judge’s review (critique) of your dog. Fee is DKK 2, or € 0,25 per review.

Catalogue advertising. Ads may be placed in the following categories: non-commercial, commercial. Fees are:

  • 1/1-page non-commercial ad is DKK 250 or € 33
  • 1/1 page commercial ad is DKK 500 or € 66

Ads must be sent by mail to show@newfclub.dk. The deadline for receiving ads is July 1, 2016.

Camping may take place only in the marked camping areas from no earlier than Tuesday 19 July 2016 at 12.00. Signs placed in each spacing shows wether caravns, tents or cars may be placed in the spacing. Site plan can be found here.

Camping areas must be abandoned again by 25 July 2016 at 12.00.

Camping fees, including power supply per unit (villa tent, caravan, motorhome):

  • Gold Cup package (Tuesday – Monday) DKK 750 or € 100.
  • Gold Cup sleep over (per night) DKK 150 or € 20
  • Fees for grooming tents> 20m2 is DKK 1000 or €135. tent.
  • Fee for electricity without camping or grooming tents is DKK 150 or €20 for the entire period.

Camping fees must be paid no later than 1 July 2016:

  • Danish exhibitors: Bank account: 1551 10832063 including name of paying person and e-mail address.
  • Foreign exhibitors: IBAN: DK 3330000010832063 SWIFT: DABADKKK including name of paying person and e-mail address.

Rent of grooming tents must be made by e-mail to show@newfclub.dk no later than 1 July 2016. It is possible to rent tents with dimensions 6x6 meters or 6x9 meters. Fee includes rent of grooming tent, fee for grooming tents >20m2, and elctricity:

  • 6x6 – DKK 3.160 or € 425
  • 6x9 – DKK 4.240 or € 565

The tents will wherever possible be placed in close proximity to the show area.

When ordering a grooming tent, please inform on the desired dimensions. Upon arrival to the area, please go to the INFO, which will show you the way to your rented grooming tent.

Payment must take place at the same time of booking a grooming tent. The tent will be booked before the payment has been made:

It is very important that everyone in the interest of fire safety, observe the camping regulations. Camping regulations are soon be found here.

For the sake of stable power supply for camping units, judge tents, etc., only power cables approved for this must be used. The Gold Cup Management reserves the right to disconnect any. unauthorized power supply cables. Specifications on approved cable H07RN-F 3x2, 5

In case of rain, you are not allowed to drive by car or any other motorized vehicle around the camp and show areas, as there may be a risk that the grass surface wil turn into mud.

Donations. We are seeking donations – typical newf artifacts or other items which can be included in a lottery, brown bag raffle etc.

Please, send a mail to show@newfclub.dk no later than 1 July 2016, that you wish to donate one or more items. We will make the arrangements on how to bring the items to Gold Cup 2016.

Sales booths are like previous years  set up in the special market place area. A sales booth fee is DKK 750 or € 100. If given a sponsorship equivalent to DKK 750 or € 100, sales booth may be set up for free. If the sales booth is an integral part of a camping unit, the price of sales booth and camping unit is DKK 1000/€135 In the case of 2 independent units, the fee is DKK 750 or € 100 per unit.

If the sales booth is set up 21 July – 24 July the fee is DKK 400 or € 55.

If you wish to set up a sales booth, you must apply before 1 July 2016 by e-mail, notifying show@newfclub.dk whether sales booth is an integral part of a camping unit, or an independent sales booth.

Water World is free of charge by presenting a Gold Cup swim rubber bracelet at Water World. Gold Cup swim rubber bracelet can be picked up at the INFO during its opening hours.

Get-Together Party is as usual held on Wednesday evening. The Newfoundland Club of Denmark hosts a drink 20.00 to 21.00.

Barbecue and Dance Party - Friday - Barbecue your own meat etc. Two big barbecues will be available. Also there will be a salad buffet be free of chargeThere will be a salad buffet, creamed potatoes, bread, dressing, dishes, knives and forks and napkins. Only DKK 25 or € 3,5 per person. Bring your own beverages as well.

Coffee and cake can be purchased at reasonable prices.

The barbecue will commence at 19.30.

Afterwards there will be a dance party.

Registration for the barbecue must be made electronically to show@newfclub.dk by 1 July 2016 indicating the number of participants. Payment must be made to the information booth no later than Friday 22 July at noon.

When walking the dogs, they are to be kept in a leash. If there are loose dogs on the area, the Newfoundland Club of Denmark reserves the right to expel dogs and owners from the site.

Worm treatment takes place Saturday 17.00 at the information booth. The fee is DKK 100 if you bring your own worm treatment pills. If worm treatment pills are supplied by the vet, the fee is an additional DKK50 per pill. Only in Danish currency and CASH ONLY.

You must register number of dogs for worm treatment to show@newfclub.dk by 1 July 2016. Please write whether you need to purchase pills as well.
